About the Speaker

Michael Chang has held the position of Global Business Director at BlueWing Motors, overseeing conversion projects in key Southeast Asian nations such as Indonesia and Vietnam. He actively engaged in KOICA's Creative Technology Solution (CTS) project, which aimed to integrate innovative ideas and technologies from startup perspectives into Official Development Assistance (ODA) initiatives. This approach sought to tackle development challenges that were traditionally hard to resolve using conventional methods. Additionally, Michael has conducted several presentations on conversions at the National University of Indonesia (UNS) and on Proof of Concept (POC) projects in Vietnam.

The Asian Development Bank launched the E-Mobility Support and Investment Platform for Asia and the Pacific, with the support by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and other partners, for bringing together practitioners and to support the scale-up of e-mobility in the region. The platform aims to become a centre of knowledge for supporting a just transition towards net-zero pathways.
