This webinar delved into road freight transport strategies and practices for freight electrification in People’s Republic of China. It highlighted policies, challenges, and case studies in urban logistics and zero-emission freight corridors, offering insights for stakeholders in the e-mobility community.

The webinar included a commentary by Bert Fabian, Senior Transport Specialist from the Emerging Areas Group of the ADB Transport Sector Office, who shared ADB’s perspective on the electrification of road freight transport. Bert specializes in sustainable transport, air quality, and climate change.

About the Speaker

Qiuyang Lu, Senior Transportation Engineer at Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP), specializes in transport demand modeling, public policy, and logistics and supply chain management at the ITDP. Her recent projects focus on policy analysis of electric vehicles and the development of sustainable urban transport systems. Qiuyang holds a master's degree in Transport from Imperial College London and University College London, as well as two bachelor's degrees—one in Business Management (Logistics and Operations) from Cardiff University and one in Transportation from Dalian Maritime University.
